Moving people, equipment, supplies, materials, and resources in and out of the United States can be challenging. It can be a higher level of challenging moving these around the Gulf of Mexico from various fixed and dynamic points-of-entry.
CDI Customs Brokers can make the process easier, more cost effective and efficient. We are experienced in clearing customs and border controls both from and to their exit and arrival locations, whether inside or outside of United States territory or on/off vessels.
No matter where your cargo get shipped from, vessels that come into the US from offshore or deliver to an offshore point, have to clear customs. This requires clearing the point of entry as well as the point of origination. CDI Customs Brokers assist with:
- Fixed point – Delivering something from foreign territory that’s getting installed on a platform in the G.O.M. requires proper paperwork filing and duties to be paid.
- U.S. Ports of Entry – Cargo received from a U.S. port, delivered to a point outside U.S. territory and later returned to the U.S. for reentry.
- Ex-U.S. parts and repairs on vessel and equipment – Once parts and/or equipment repairs are procured internationally, reporting, document filing, duties, etc. may be required to comply with US regulations and maritime laws.
